This is the first post and I would like to describe what this online dating site is about. On the Internet there is a wealth of options available for you to choose from. The online dating landscape has hunderds of different options to choose from. Two years ago, I had recently broke up with my boyfriend and was lonely. I decided to visit some of the dating sites to see if I can possibly find a partner. I was amazed at the amopunt of online dating choices I had. Where is the best place to meet other singles? Is there a special someone outthere online for me? I decided to try out sever of the online dating services available.

The first thing I realized was that not all of the online dating sites are the same. Some are free to join while others are accessible by paying an monthly fee. Furthermore, of the online dating I tried, I found that each had their own feel to them where the types of people / characters varied. The reason I decided to setup this site is to provide reviews of dating sites online, list some of the features, and provide some personal experiences that I had. In the end I would say the there are only 3 to 5 places I would recommend online dating. I will be reviewing them in depth and give you the reasons why.

So that I have told you a little about my online dating experiences, I would like to highlight some of the different types of dating sites for singles online. There is pretty much a website dedicated to any preference you have. From a cultural / religious point of view, there is black dating, jewish dating, christian dating, interracial dating, and more. If theer is a specific gender / physical preference there is bbw dating, gay dating, lesbian dating fitness dating, and others. Then there are online singles sites specifically for age groups such as teens, 30 plus dating, 40 plus, etc…

The general sites online tend to have all of these as subsets of their online dating sites. Once you are a free member, you can browse through the profiles and categorize the search results based on the attributes you are looking for. I always advise that you test out an online dating website before paying money, you’ll see that most of the larger destinations offer that option for free. In my next entries, I will be reviewing the features to look for and the the online dating places to consider giving a try.

In this entry I am going to ramble a little about the this I ask and look for when exploring online dating. As I mentioned in a previous post, they are not all the same and the dating sites you choose plays into your hopes of finding that special someone. The first thing I do when online dating is to research some of the ones out there. I would typically do a search for a term like Online Dating, then see a list of results. From there I will browse around looking for the online dating sites that are professionally designed. One thing you might consider is adding your city to the search term, that way you will get a list of dating sites that cater to your area. For me, I also introduced other elements to the research including singles dating, online personal, online chat, and others. By mixing it up you’ll start to see some of the same sites come up. You can rest assured that these places are good online dating choices.

Once I find a few professional online dating destinations, I’ll then register for a free dating account where they allow me to to before I by. Once I have an account, I immediately do a search for dating profiles in my area. From there I will look to see the quality of profiles, in my case I am looking for young men with the tall, dark and handsome appeal. Keep note of the features that the dating sites offer you, are you allowed to communicate with other members with the free trial? Do they list critical information like the last time a member visited? These are important questions to ask in online dating because it may seem like there is a lot of activity, but in reality the place may be a ghost town. Onlinedating is tricky and you should know the things to look for, in future entries I will dig deeper and explain which dating sites are good and musts if you are serious about online dating.
